To upgrade your account from a regular user to a business account:
- Log in to your Yum account.
- Go to your Profile Settings.
- Choose Business Account option under the Account Type section.
- Update your profile to make changes.
Once completed, you’ll have access to business features, such as managing menus, promotions, and analytics.
16. How do I register my business locations?
To register business locations:
- From the dashboard, navigate to the “Places” section.
- Click “Add New Location.”
- Fill in the location details, such as name, address, city, and contact information.
- Add any relevant links for social media, website, or delivery services.
- Save your location.
You can register one or multiple locations and manage them individually.
17. How do I create a menu?
Creating a menu is simple:
- Go to the “Menus” section on your dashboard.
- Click “Create New Menu.”
- Select the location this menu belongs to.
- Name your menu and choose a default language.
- Start adding categories and articles (food/drink items) to build your menu.
- Save and preview the menu to see how it looks.
18. How do I create in-menu promotions?
To create a promotion directly in your menu:
- Navigate to the “Menus” section and select the desired menu.
- Upload your menu promotion under the Promo section.
- Update the menu to make changes.
Your promotion will now appear in the selected menu instantly when you enter the menu preview mode.
19. How do I send targeted push notification promotions?
To send push notifications to targeted users:
- Navigate to the “Menus” section and go to "Targeted Promotions" module at the bottom of the page.
- Write the notification title and message and review it.
- Define the audience by selecting country and city, as well as food and drink categories.
This ensures your message reaches the right customers and drives more visits.
20. How do I set menu languages?
To add multiple languages to your menu:
- Open your menu in the “Menus” section.
- Add and manage menu languages under the Menu Translations section.
- You can also set a default menu language that will be userd into menu preview.
Yum supports unlimited languages, making it perfect for diverse audiences.
21. How do I add a greeting message to my menu?
To add a personalized greeting:
- Open your menu in the “Menus” section.
- Write your message into the Greeting Message section.
The greeting will appear at the top of your menu when customers access it.
22. How do I link a menu with a business location?
To associate a menu with a specific location:
- Open your menu in the “Menus” section.
- Choose one of the previewsly created locations in Business Place section dropdown.
- One menu can belong to one business location.
23. How do I enable delivery options?
To enable delivery for a location:
- Open your menu in the “Menus” section.
- Turn on the Delivery toggle under Delivery Support section.
- Write your phone number where people can reach you.
Customers will now see the delivery option in your menu.
24. How do I enable the menu giveaway program?
To activate giveaways:
- Open your menu in the “Menus” section.
- Turn on the Delivery toggle under Giveaway Support section.
- Include food and/or drink articles into the giveaway right after.
Customers scanning your QR code will now have a chance to win giveaways.
25. How do I change the giveaway win rate percentage?
To modify the giveaway win rate:
- Open your menu in the “Menus” section.
- Go to the Giveaway Support section.
- Adjust the percentage (e.g., 0.3 = 30-35 wins per 1000 scans).
- Save the changes by updating the menu.
The algorithm will automatically update the giveaway logic and will pick winners automatically based on your input.
26. How do I manage and reorder menu categories?
To modify the giveaway win rate:
- Open your menu in the “Menus” section.
- Go to the Manage Articles module at the bottom of the page.
- Add and organize menu categories for both Foods and Drinks separately.
- To reorder categories:
- Drag and drop categories into the desired order.
- Save the new order.
The first category will always be visible when the menu is opened.
27. How do I hide or show menu categories?
- Go to the Manage Articles module at the bottom of the page.
- Use the “Visibility” toggle for each category to show or hide it.
- Click on Save Categories Order to make changes.
Hidden categories will not appear in the customer menu but remain editable.
28. I can not find the food or drink category I need. What should I do?
If you can’t find a specific category:
- Contact Yum Support directly.
- We manage categories and their visual design to ensure they look professional and consistent.
29. How do I add and translate articles?
If you can’t find a specific category:
- To add an article:
- Open the desired category and click “Add Article.”
- Enter the article name, description, price, and other details.
- To translate articles:
- Use AI automatic translations to instantly translate all articles.
- You can also manually edit the translations.
- Use voice recognition to dictate the article text, which Yum will transcribe and translate into all selected languages.
30. How do I manage article pricing and availability?
- To set a price: Add a single price when creating or editing an article.
- To set multiple prices: Use the Multiple Prices Toggle and set sizes + price (e.g., Small/Medium/Large).
- To mark as out of stock: Toggle the “Out of Stock” option in the article settings.
31. How do I subscribe to an annual plan?
To subscribe:
- Go to the Profile Settings.
- Under Account Type section you must have choosen a Business Account.
- If your Account Type is Business you will see an action button to Subscribe - click on it.
- It will bring you to the checkout page where you can choose your annual package.
- Enter your payment details and coupon code if you have one.
- Complete the checkout, and enjoy using all exclusive features of Yum.
